About Us...

Aromas Specialty Coffees & Gourmet Bakery (Aromas) is a unique fast-casual coffeehouse cafe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with a strong emphasis on fine teas and coffees. We provide a worm and cozy environment, fresh, nutritional food, and affordable prices. Whether you want to eat, grab a drink, meet with friends or do some work in a casual and friendly atmosphere, you should visit Aromas. We are pet-friendly too, so bring your four-legged friends. Aromas currently has two locations: Williamsburg, VA and Newport News, VA. 

Aromas first opened it’s doors  in Williamsburg on Father's Day in 2000. Our intent when we created our family's company "Silver Linings" was to offer our community an inviting retreat for meeting with good friends and discussing events of the day with visitors from literally around the world. 

We wanted to complement their experience with the best available fresh roasted Arabica bean coffees, fine teas and tasty casual foods that we could find, &… for the fairest of prices. 

We enjoyed it so much that in June 2006 we opened our second shop on the fountain in City Center at Oyster Point, Newport News.

And so, we invite our friends, new and old, those we've yet to meet, neighbors, and visitors from afar, to stop in either spot, enjoy our comfortable atmosphere, savor the flavors of our delightful faire, and  make Aromas your home away from home.

We pride ourselves on having the best coffee in town in both Williamsburg and Newport News. Aromas has received a number of recognitions as the best coffee shop in the area. But we are not just a coffee house. We are also a tea house offering a wide selection of the world's best teas. Even that is not all.

Aromas is a place where you can start your day with a delicious full breakfast, lunch on great sandwiches, salads & homemade soups, and even complete the day with dinner and a glass of wine or beer. We bake our own cookies, pastries, scones and muffins including our yummy chocolate chip cookie, oatmeal cookie and carrot raisin muffin. Stop by and check out yourself why we have some of the best salads, sandwiches and desserts in Williamsburg and Newport News.
